With a rare blend of professional experience, lifelong commitment to justice, and deep community roots, Danica is ready to bring steady, thoughtful, and fair leadership to the bench.
Born and raised in Vincennes, Indiana, Danica knew from a young age—around nine years old—that she wanted to become an attorney. That early determination led her on a path of purpose and service, culminating in a legal career that spans more than two decades. She has never wavered from that age, going directly from high school to college, college to law school and immediately into service in the legal field.
A proud graduate of Lawrence Central High School, Danica went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, followed by a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Her education laid a strong foundation for the thoughtful, business-minded, and compassionate approach she brings to the legal system and her clients today.
With over 20 years of expanded legal experience, Danica has practiced in nearly every area of law, including Family Law, Mediation, Business Law, Criminal Law, Probate, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, Guardianship, and Municipal Law. For the past 7+ years, she has primarily served clients right here in Hamilton County, where she has built a reputation for being principled, prepared, and practical in every matter she handles. Danica has extensive experience here in the Hamilton County courts, serving as a Public Defender in Title IVD Court, being appointed by the current judges to numerous different types of cases for service to the judicial system and appearing before every Court in the county.
A longtime resident of Hamilton County and current Westfield resident, Danica is deeply invested in the well-being of the community she serves. She and her husband, an entrepreneur and business owner based here in Hamilton County, have built and run multiple businesses over the past 12+ years, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges and rewards faced by local families and professionals. As a member of Webster & Garino LLC, a Hamilton County-based law firm, she knows and understands what running a business here in Hamilton County entails. Together, they’re raising a family in a proudly “divided house”: Danica is a proud IU grad, her husband graduated from IU and Notre Dame, and their son is on his way to Purdue.
Outside the courtroom, Danica finds joy in golfing, gardening, reading, and playing cards with family and friends. Her heart for service is reflected in her community involvement and her desire to become a judge, as such—she has served on the Board of Directors for Westfield Aquatics (5+ years), the Wellbeing Coalition of Westfield (1.5 years), and is currently a committee member for Scouting America Troops 107 and 1070, based in Westfield. She also volunteers with her Carmel-based church, Traders Point, and has for the past two years been an attorney advisor for Westfield High School’s Mock Trial program.
A judicial system that is grounded in law, guided by compassion, and responsive to the real-life challenges faced by individuals, families, and businesses in Hamilton County.
To serve the people of Hamilton County with integrity, fairness, and a practical understanding of the law—bringing over 20 years of diverse legal experience, deep community roots, and a heart for service to the judicial bench.

Danica Eyler Candidate for Judge – Hamilton County, Indiana
I knew by the age of nine that I wanted to become a lawyer. That early decision stayed with me, and I followed through with determination and purpose. Law has always felt like the right way to serve others while using my skills to resolve problems fairly and practically. My mother was a student at Vincennes University studying to become a paralegal, as a young child, I would go with her to the library and assist her in finding the legal books she needed. Those books, which contained opinions written by judges all throughout Indiana, inspired this path to becoming a Judge.
I have over 20 years of experience practicing law, with a broad background that includes Family Law, Mediation, Business Law, Criminal Law, Probate, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, Guardianship, and Municipal Law. For the past 7+ years, I’ve primarily practiced in Hamilton County, where I’ve built strong relationships and deep knowledge of our local courts.
My combination of professional experience and personal perspective. I’ve practiced across nearly every area of law, and I’ve lived through many of the challenges everyday people face. I was raised by divorced parents, grew up with modest means, and have experienced the realities of both financial struggle and financial success. I believe this gives me a rare ability to understand the people who come before the bench and to apply the law with empathy, fairness, and a practical mindset. My base of knowledge of nearly every aspect of law that would come before me here in Hamilton County, means that I can focus my attention of the facts of each case, giving my undivided attention to the litigants before me and issuing rulings in accordance with the law and the unique facts of each case.
I was born in Vincennes, Indiana, and have spent nearly my entire life in the state. I graduated from Lawrence Central High School and have lived in Hamilton County for most of my adult life, starting in Carmel, then Noblesville and finally in Westfield where I live now with my family.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and my Juris Doctor from Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
Absolutely. I believe in leading with a heart of service. I have served on the Board of Directors for Westfield Aquatics and the Wellbeing Coalition of Westfield. I am currently a committee member for Scouting America Troops 107 and 1070, based right here in Hamilton County. I also regularly volunteer at my Carmel based church Traders Point. For the past two years I have volunteered as the attorney advisor for Westfield High School's County Mock Trial team.
I bring a principled, practical, and prepared approach to the bench. I’ve walked in many shoes—professionally and personally—and I understand that the people who come to court deserve to be heard, respected, and treated fairly. I’m committed to applying the law with integrity and compassion while making decisions that are grounded in real-life experience and the rule of law.
I’m married to an entrepreneur, and over the past 12+ years, we’ve started, run, sold, and closed several businesses together. We have two children and live in a house that’s proudly divided when it comes to sports—I'm an IU grad, my husband went to Notre Dame, and our son is heading to Purdue! My husband and I are both from divorced parents, but we have been together for nearly 30 years and married for nearly 25. We are tenacious, thoughtful and committed to our community. My husband also serves our local Scout Troops as well as on the Board of the Million Meal Movement where he helps fight hunger in our community.
I love spending time with my family, outdoors gardening or golfing, attending bible study, relaxing with a good book, cooking, baking and playing cards with family and friends. These moments help me stay grounded and connected.
